Q. Why are you a Fraternity instead of a Sorority?

A. Our organization is bruhood a bond between women who self-identify with their masculinity more so than their feminine side.


Q. What is an Omicron Boi / Boy?

A.  An Omicron Boi / Boy is a masculine woman who is but not limited to a tomboy, soft stud, stud, butch, dyke,  AG or FTM transman.  An Omicron boi isn’t abusive, An Omicron boi is extremely respectful, loyal, dedicated, and ready to give love as well as serve all communities (gay and straight).  An Omicron boi / boy is a woman / FTM transman prepared to become a business woman / man. They are ready to elevate their business skills as a business woman / man.  An Omicron boi/boy is a mature spiritual boi/boy.


Q. How do I become a member of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.?

A. There are three steps.
1. You will need to first submit an interest application (please click Membership tab for requirements and application)
Interest must meet our organization intake requirements.  After apps are reviewed and interest will be contacted by one of the members of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. After dialogue has been exchanged and interest will be invited to meet the other members of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. This is where Omicron bonding will begin via phone, text, social media, and face to face visits (if feasible for both the interest and Omicron member).
2. After both Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. and the interest feels their a good fit, an invite is extending for the current in-take class.  At this time the bois/boys of Omicron prepares this individual for the interview process.
3. After the interest has passed their interview they are now prepped for an intense twelve (12) week membership intake (pledge) process.
The membership intake is the educational process in which all prospective members must successfully complete to become members of the organization. During this process you will learn the history of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. as well as what is expected of you to remain a member of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.  You will also learn the basic tools needed to become an Omicron business woman / man and an Omicron mentor.


Q. What is the ethnicity of this organization?

A. We are Multi-Cultural. Bruhood knows NO color!


Q. Can I become a member if I’m younger than 18 or older than 40?

A. Yes and No.  If you are younger than 18 you cannot become a member of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. However, you can sign up for our J.O.M.P (Jr. Omicron Mentoring Program). We especially welcome our “Seasoned” brothers who are 45 and older.  Our “Seasoned” Omega Omicron Chapter is for our brothers who are graduates of life. (Please contact us for more details).


Q. I have heard bad things about Greek organizations. What should I believe?

A. Unfortunately there are some misguided individuals in certain organizations who gives their organization a bad look, however don’t judge the organization by one person(s) opinion.  Get to know the organization and what the entire organization believes in and stands for.  It’s never good to judge a book by its cover or the first few pages.
The only opinion of an organization that should matter is yours. Each organization is different. You will need to judge for yourself.  Do your research and make sure you can see yourself committing to this organization for life.


Q. Do you have an Anti-Hazing Policy in effect?

A. Yes we do!  The bruhs of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. feel you don’t have to be drug through the dirt, belittled, and made to feel less than just to be raised up and called a bruh for life. Our process is equal to an educational process with a boot camp twist.  You will be challenged both mentally and emotionally.  While there will be some projects and test that will test your endurance it isn’t necessary for you to be the most athletic or the strongest bruh online.  As we tell you from day one, “REMEMBER IT’S A MIND THING!  DON’T FALL PREY TO MIND GAMES!”


Q.  Are there financial obligations with being a member of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc?

A. Yes they are. Prospective member of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. pays a processing fee and an initiation fee.
Initiated members pay yearly dues. New members will get more information once you become a member of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.


Q. What are these fees used for?


A. 90% of your fees actually are given back to you upon you becoming a member of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. during your Crossing weekend. (i.e. accommodations during crossing weekend, food/beverage and crossing gifts). The other 10% is used for the purposes of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.
All in-take fees are non-tax deductible and non-refundable. Members dues are used for the upkeep and services provided by Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.


Q.  Are my fees refundable if I decide I no longer want to pledge or if I’m dropped from the process?

A. Monies paid for the intake process are non-refundable.  A donation letter may be issued to you on behalf of the organization for all monies paid.  If you decide to come back in a later pledge class current monies will be forfeited and you will need to start the process over.


Q. Can I start a Chapter in my city?

A. Yes, we’re always excited about branching out and uniting with our long lost bruhs.  We encourage you to be a leader as well as a pioneer who will bring change to your hometown.


Q. How many members does a Chapter need to have in order to exist?


A. One member is all it takes. We as a fraternal bruhood will help you build your chapter


Q. What colleges are Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Incorporated affiliated with?

A. Kappa Omega Omicron Incorporated is a non-collegiate community and social service based organization. In the future we will be on campuses nationwide, however we will never discontinue non-collegiate chapters as we feel Greek life should be extended to all who has a desire to serve and be part of a bruhood.


Q. Will I have to travel?

A. Yes.  You will need to travel for your Crossing Weekend, bonding weekends and various conferences and conventions we will take part in.


Q. Do I have to be a certain religion to join?

A. Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. does not discriminate based on faith. However, we do expect our members to have a relationship with a Higher Positive Source.


Q. Can I be a part of another Greek Org and pledge Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.?

A.  You cannot be part of another GLO / LGBT organization and a member of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc., however we welcome you in if you are a part of a D9, other ethnic Greek letter org or professional organization.

Q. Can I be a member of this fraternity while serving in the military? 

A. Yes. We have our Gamma chapter for those who serve their country and for those who also want to serve their community.

Q. Are there dues or Fees? 

A. Yes. There is a $50.00 USD Application Fee. If the application is accepted there is an intake fee of $450.00.

Q. Are the fees refundable if I am not accepted or decide not to join? 

A. No. All fees are non-refundable. All applicants are subject to a background check before being considered for membership.
